Segmented Bowl (#3)
This is the third bowl I have made, and the first attempt at a segmented turning. The bowl is made from scraps of Walnut and Padauk and finished with multiple light coats of Danish Oil.
Ambrosia Maple Bowl (#2)
This is the second bowl that I have made. This bowl is made of a block of Ambrosia Maple from my local Woodcraft and finished with a light coat of Danish Oil.

Wainscoting
Installed some wainscoting in our entry hallway. The paneling is 1/4" birch plywood, the rails and stiles are pre-primed 1x4 and the cap is a 1x2. Painted to match the trim in our house.
Also, finally finished the fireplace mantle by installing and painting the cap.
Shop Projects
A few shop-projects that I have completed over the past few months (and some new tools).
Cordless drill storage (March 2016)
Dial indicator mount for checking table saw alignment (February 2016)
New Estwing hammers (20oz and 16oz), I love the look of these classic leather grip hammers.
Tool tray for my bench. This was a simple plywood strip that I screwed to the underside of the bench. This allows me to store small tools in the tray, and keeps stuff from falling behind the bench (February 2016)
Vise mount for bench. The four bolts are attached to the bench using t-nuts underneath the bench. I can remove or install the vise in about 30 seconds.
Garage door insulation (February 2016)
New Porter Cable Drill Press with mobile base and simple table (finally replaced my benchtop drill press).
LED Light over the lathe (January 2016)

Turned Bowl
This is my first attempt at turning a bowl. I started by gluing together two 6" x 6" pieces of 8/4 Walnut. I used a combination of traditional turning tools and a Easy Wood Tools Finisher and my new Nova Midi-Chuck. I still want to hollow out a little more near the bottom, then a ton of sanding and finish.
